Funny Rocky Fact 1!
I found out from a fellow Rocky fan, that on Sat 25 Oct (Cheltenham) in the show Drew had a bit of trouble getting in his wheelchair, all the cast were laughing at him, he must have got his trousers caught around the wheel, Katie (Janet) and Jon (Brad) tried to help him up but he was stuck!!! He was laughing so much he completely forgot where and what his next line was, and so just blurted out "IT WAS WORSE THAN I IMAGINED!", everyone was doubled over laughing especially Jonny (Frank) and Graham (Rocky)!!!! It sounds so funny, wish i was there to see it!! Thanks Michelle for the funny story! x
Funny Rocky Fact 2!
Saturday 15th November 2003 was Jonathan Wilkes's last day playing Frank in Rocky. I wasn't there, but i found out from Lauren on the Official Jonathan Wilkes Forum that it was a great day, there was lots of messing around! Heres a few things Drew was involved in!!
- When Eddie's (Drew's) box came up he was nowhere to be seen - he went through the audience instead!! When he went back in his box, Jonathan shut it, but Drew kept pushing the lid up again, until Andrea finally sat on it!!
- He was speaking in a northern accent adding 'duck' and 'pet' on the end of everything!!
- Jonathan tipped Drew's wheelchair over, later Drew got his own back by putting the brake on so Jonathan couldn't push him off the stage when he was meant to! When he did get to the side, he tipped the wheelchair, so Drew went flying!!
It all sounded very funny, i wish i could have been there!!
